TYPES OF INKJET PRINTER.
Piezoelectric type (office/industrial)
In this technique, ink particles are discharged using a piezoelectric (piezo) element, whose volume is distorted when voltage is applied. This component is joined to the ink-filled component. The ink is then put under pressure using the volume deformations, which releases ink particles from the nozzle.
Thermal (valve) type (office/industrial)
This technique involves heating the ink using a heating element, which creates bubbles and releases ink particles. The component that contains the ink is connected to the heating element. When heat is applied to the ink, a bubble develops and releases ink from the nozzle.
Valve type (industrial)
In this method, a solenoid is used to open and close the nozzle cover, which discharges ink particles.
By opening and closing the valve, the pressurized ink is discharged from the nozzle.
